Not much new info here, Eastern League officials are giving no explanation for the delay in the announcement that was originally planned for August 1. My guess is there's a lot of paper pushing going on causing the delays. I'm sure all parties involved are keeping tabs on the work being done at The Diamond.
If this thing continues to drag out, it won't make it easy to get everything fully prepared to start the 2010 season. No need to be alarmed yet.
